    Buick Emerald

    Magalie Debélis

Since the birth of automobile, man has become more demanding as he grew more and more informed, but still expressing confused motivations towards an object of pleasure and seduction.
At the time when security is everywhere and therefore also in cars, how can one consider a new relation between man and car so that man can keep a feeling of pleasure and escape thanks to his mobility.

    Magalie Debélis - Diplôme 2006

In our digital era, the main innovations in terms of security will concern on-board electronics. All the captation systems combined with the positioning systems should lead to the emergence of a new range of cars, in which the driver will be able to choose between automatic or manual driving, to enjoy the physical pleasure of driving.
On the basis of a platform, Magalie Debellis has created Buick Emerald like a jewel object.
In auto-pilot, the driver can join his passengers for multimedia activities, enjoying the programmable lighting effects cast onto the windows.
