Man
needs change even in his dwelling, to evolve in a space which is personal for
him. How to bring about some change in its covering in adequacy with
contemporary habits? Tiles, carpet, parquet, wooden floor… All floorings are
static, hard to lay, most often impossible to move or to personalize. Cold or
all-purpose, coverings are also rarely objects of emotional projection, in which
one can find one’s own world, preferences, or references Audrey
Barreau has decided to take up that challenge with
Eponymous, with which she proves that it is
possible to reinvent wall covering, giving it the proprieties both of furniture
and tiles.

True space of expression at home, this structure is made of several
modules, whose combinations permit diversity :
- Frames
that can be fitted into one another (with different colours)
- Content,
made of circumvolutions of pieces of coloured paper.
- « stretching »
objects to be included to the paper, to decorate or
useful,
- covering
elements that include decorating functions (vases, pictures,
...)
The installation of Eponymous is very easy (as well as its taking
off), enabling the diversity, and the personalization of
walls.
