The more cities and our way of life become technological, the more
humanity and nature man will need. But how can we keep our mobility while
preserving the ground and the natural resources? During the successive
industrial revolutions, cities have integrated more and more mineral, and car
has played a big role in this phenomenon. In the dynamic of eco-development, why
couldn’t tomorrow’s car contribute to re-establish the necessary link with
nature? Erko, Nicolas Rousselet’s project
creates a new mode of moving thanks to a road system mixing pedestrians with
mobile objects.
Nicolas
has decided to work both on the network and on the adequate vehicle. On his
network, there is no difference anymore between the zones for pedestrians and
those for cars. Only the sensors that guide the vehicles can differentiate
them. With their many plants, adaptable to the season, the
“roads” of this new network participate to the new harmony of cities. And if
there are plants on the roads, cars must respect them. Therefore, Nicolas’s car
uses the principle of air cushion to avoid all contact with the ground at
cruising speed. It can then be driven like a small plane thanks to the rear
stabilizers.
