    Frédéric Rul

    My Sweety Bike

    Frédéric Rul

The modern urban man spends not inconsiderable time in public transport. He is also concerned with his health and his physical shape. At first, these two activities seem incompatible, but Frédéric Rul has decided to work on it.
So why can’t we integrate sport to our journeys to work, thus providing comfort and pleasure in an ecological approach? With My Sweety Bike, Fédéric’s project allows the user to recreate a full cycle of sport in a well-being purpose.

My Sweety Bike - Frédéric Rul - Diplôme 2006Frederic’s solution is based on two ideas.
First a bike renting system in self-service, for which he designed a new vehicle.
This universal bicycle can be equipped with an electrical engine according to the natural declivity of the town.
Then a bag, whose parts that are in contact with the body can heat to prepare the body for the exercise, during the public transport journey. This bag also contains an individual saddle that can be fixed to any bike of the stock in order to personalize one’s use of it. The bag can be placed near the fork and thus reveals a meter, giving several parameters of the physical effort made.
