Workshop :
Ethical Fashion Show
In April 2009, Strate initiated a workshop named "From Waste to Luxury".
Under the direction of François PREVOST, 9 students from different classes (2nd, 3rd and 5th year) have been thinking about different creative ways to use wasted materials to transform them into luxury and desirable objects.

La Laboratoire :
A very productive partnership
Like in 2008, le Laboratoire in Paris, created and managed by Prof. David Edwards, and devoted to Art-Science, invited Strate Collège in its 2009 summer workshop.
Dominqiue Sciamma and David Ferré (respectively head of Interaction Design Dept., and 3D Modelling Curriculum) managed 11 Strate students, working together with students form HARVARD (Boston USA) and ERG (Brussels, Belgium).

LuxePack 2009 - Monaco
From Sept. 21 to Sept. 23rd 2009, Strate has illustrated its packaging approach and philosophy by simulating the launch of a brand during the LUXE PACK exhibition in Monaco.
In the context of this prestigious professional event, Strate has been offered a 75m2 ehibition space, fully designed by its students, where the moto "Less Material, More Magic" was illustrated by 15 different products.

Inauguration - "Lieu du Design"
The newly created "Lieu du Design", sponsored by the Paris-Ile de France region, invited 6 major design schools (ENSAAMA, ENSAD, STRATE COLLÈGE DESIGNERS, CAMONDO, ROYAL COLLEGE OF ART, ENSCI-Les Ateliers) to show some of their students' Diplomas.

Observeur du design
The APCI (Industrial Design Promotion Agency) is presenting its 11th session in "La Cité des Sciences" inraduation records Paris, around the theme : beauty, usefulness and design.
5 projects, developed by former or current Strate students are present in the exhibition, among 183 other projects, illustrating the wide diversity of design applications.
